Contact us Online

We ask and advise all patients to request anything from appointments to reports to blood test forms via the ACCURX request form on the main home page.

It is a simple to use online access tool that on receipt is then triaged by the Duty GP for medical and health matters and the admin team for all non clinical health issues.  We respond to all within 3 working days and when appointments are allocated, links to book the new appointment are also sent to patients via Accurx.

Telephone options and enquiries for the Medical Secretary

We ask all patients to please where possible use the "Accurx" request form on the main home page under "appointments" - if you still need to ring the Surgery please note the following

Option 1 - To cancel all appointments and for Nursing appointments

Option 2 - For prescriptions queries only and test results from 2pm - 4pm (we do not take prescription requests over the phone)

Messages for the Medical Secretaries should be placed on the Accurx forms and on receipt will be forwarded on - they will review and make contact as appropriate to the requst/enquiry.

Important: If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Access/Facilities

The surgery has wheelchair access and the patients' toilet has facilities for the disabled.

The new Hearing Loop box is situated at the reception desk area to aid/assist those patients with hearing impairments (note: please bring your hearing device(s) aids when attending the Surgery).

Parking

There is very limited parking close to the Surgery due to the use and take up of parking bays in Bell Mead by our patients, dog walkers and other visitors to the town.  Every day, some of our staff have to use the Bell Mead Public bays due to our own limited staff parking.

For those patients with access needs and driving to the surgery for pre-booked appointments, please ensure you make the reception team aware so an access parking bay can be made available for you at that time - thank you.
